I conduct scientific research on how individual people are all different from one another. In particular, I'm an expert in happiness and well-being—as well as how people's personalities change across time. I'm the world's leading expert on individuals' desires and attempts to change themselves (i.e., volitional personality change).
I'm currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. I received my PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2016. Check out my CV to learn more.
